1-Day SUP Surf Mission to Devon

Team 2XS® went on a stealth SUP mission to Devon last Friday. We jumped into the van at 4.45 am and was at the beach nice and early to make the most of the 2-4 ft forecast.
We originally planned to go in at Saunton Sands but when we arrived it looked quite busy. Croyde Bay was the same, so we headed over the hill to Putsborough where we were rewarded with an empty beach with super clean waves. Holly, Jake, and myself had an epic 4.5hr session each catching 30+ waves and we also met up with Matt Argyle (now a local Devon wave shredder). We took some a variety of kit to use including:

All of it worked really well with a bit of fin tuning to get the most out the conditions. On the paddle side we all used the Kialoa GL surf paddles, and Holly used a Kialoa pipes.

It was well worth the 3.5hr journey each way.
