The Goya Custom Quad has been one of 2XS’ most popular wave boards – the new 2025 edition as been redesigned from scratch – with its new construction, reduced weight we feel is going to be even more popular than previous models. The R & D work on this board has been extensive – the Goya Custom Quad will be on demo at 2XS, West Wittering – why not come down and give it a try!
Using their vast experience from building custom boards in the Maui factory Goya have now managed to implement the same lay up into their production boards, this new lay up is super strong and much lighter than the previous boards. This combined with Goya’s own custom made super light fin boxes and new Carbon fins has enabled them to save nearly 1kg off the weight of the boards which greatly improves the balance/swing weight and feel. You are basically getting a custom layup and shape which isn’t altered/touched after the moulding process therefore you always know that you are consistently getting the perfect shape as designed by Keith Taboul and Francisco Goya every time!
The all new Goya Quad Carbon comes complete with a new set of MFC fins – based upon the renowned K300, this wave set represents the ultimate upgrade in both construction and design. The new profile provides a distinct advantage in low-end and lighter winds. Additionally, with a slight increase in surface area at the tip, the new boards can plane earlier and maintain better control during wave riding. The Carbon Composites lay-up has boosted the Top Speed by maintaining a steady flex and torsion. This set provides the best upgrade for an ultimate performance boost.
Improved efficiency and volume distribution with reduced friction and increased waterflow allowed Goya to augment the overall curve of the board and shorten the new Custom Quad with-out losing any of the lengthier previous generation’s fastness.
