The KT Ginxu Super K Carbon is the new hybrid between a downwind board and a wingfoil board. Developed in Maui with Kane de Wilde its a new breakout board which has started its own new catagory for wingfoiling! The beauty about the Super K is it will plane super early and its narrower width makes it feel shorted. We have a demo board at 2XS, West Wittering available.
The Super K also features the Ginxu cut on the hull which has moved further forward this year and is a reduced depth step which improves the early planing ability of the board.
The all new KT Foiling Ginxu Super K Carbon is the ultimate high performance freeride, surf and race wing foil board. The long and narrow outline combined with rounded hull creates the fastest glides and earliest take offs. The patented Ginxu Step Bottom gives you a more direct connection to the foil and reduces the drag during take offs. Its light wind capability is mind blowing and its narrowness keeps everything under control when it gets windy. Better suited to smaller foils rather than large span downwind foils. High speed touch downs are effortless with the extra length and rounded bottom shape providing a very forgiving ride. 3 foot straps are included.

‘Until you go, you don’t know! I recently demoed the 92 KT Foiling Ginxu Super K. I was on a 1225 MA Armstrong front wing with a 5m and I’m 80 kg. The wind was flicking around the 10knot mark. As soon as I had enough wind in the wing I was up and flying plus there is sufficient buoyancy to float around if the wind really drops. Its early lift is exceptional I think without the size of a full downwind board. It was a cross shore day as well so coming in and riding the waves with the wing flagging also was quality, so easy to manoeuvre. The board didn’t feel like 92, more like an 80 I would say. Really fun and opens up the lighter winds but will also certainly work when its windier. Plus you don’t need to hold such a large wing. A lot of fun!’
