*All kitesurfing lessons are subject to correct weather and tide conditions. The lessons are taught around low tide and we do not teach in off shore winds. Our lessons will go ahead unless you hear from us that the forecast isn’t looking suitable. This is the nature of the sport and something we have no control on. If lessons are cancelled, we will rebook you in the next available slot.

This is a complete beginner’s introduction to kitesurfing and is the ideal way to get into the sport. The course will give you all the instruction and help you need to safely learn under expert supervision. The course runs for 5 hours with a lunch break and takes you through:

Introduction to the board

On Day 2 of our BKSA Modular course you will cover:

• Launching and landing kites on land and water
• Continuation of body drags
• Introduction to boards
• Boardstarting
• Pack down and equipment knowledge

The learning with 2XS is very hands on and involves plenty of time flying the kites and on the water. There is a small amount of theory-based tuition which takes place in the West Wittering Windsurf Club clubhouse.

The instructors at 2XS make sure that you have as much fun as possible whilst getting to grips with the basics of kitesurfing.

We provide you with everything you need to participate, including a high-quality, single lined glued and blind-stitched wetsuit, harness and helmet. We also have a warm, dry club house with hot showers, changing rooms and as much tea and coffee as you want so you can eat your lunch in comfort. In fact, the only thing you need to bring is your towel.

All of our instructors are fully BKSA-qualified and are hand-picked to ensure you have the best learning experience.

All instructors carry UHF radios, we have jet-ski rescue and there are life-guards on West Wittering beach in the summer months.
